LASU Opens Applications for Part-Time Degree Programmes for 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 Sessions: Programmes, Requirements, Fees and Deadline”

Lagos, Nigeria — September 2, 2026: Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the opening of applications for admission into its School of Part-Time Studies (LASU-SPTS) for the 2025/2026 academic session at the Epe Campus and the 2026/2027 academic session at the Ojo Campus.

The part-time degree programmes are designed to provide qualified candidates with an opportunity to pursue university education while accommodating other work and personal commitments.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet the admission requirements for their chosen programme.

Candidates seeking admission are advised to visit the LASU website for the specific requirements attached to each degree programme.

For Direct Entry, candidates with an OND from a government-approved polytechnic, or a LASU Diploma with Upper Credit in a relevant course, alongside the required five O’Level credits, are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Prospective applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 through the designated LASU payment platform before accessing the application form.

Applicants will then be required to complete the online application, upload their credentials and submit the form. Qualified applicants will subsequently be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) entrance examination.

Successful candidates will be required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,000 and a medical fee of ₦30,000.

Application Deadline

The application period will close six weeks from September 2, 2026, the date of the announcement.

LASU has also warned prospective applicants against making payments to individuals or into accounts other than the officially designated payment channel.
